Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro – The Oriental Mindoro Police Provincial Office intensified its campaign against wanted persons, resulting in the successful arrest of three (3) Most Wanted Persons in separate law enforcement operations conducted on July 1, 2026, in the municipalities of Naujan, Roxas, and Gloria. Notably, two of those arrested were among the region’s most wanted fugitivesโ€”Regional Most Wanted Person Rank No. 2, and Regional Most Wanted Person Rank No. 9โ€”underscoring the effectiveness of the province’s sustained intelligence-driven operations and coordinated law enforcement efforts.

The first operation was carried out by personnel of the Calapan City Police Station, together with operating units from the OrMin PPO and RMFB 4B, resulting in the arrest of a Most Wanted Person in Brgy. San Carlos, Naujan. The 41-year-old suspect was apprehended by virtue of a warrant of arrest for Violation of Republic Act No. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002), with no bail recommended.

Likewise, joint personnel of Roxas Municipal Police Station and the 3rd Platoon, 2nd PMFC successfully arrested the Regional Most Wanted Person, Rank No. 2, in Brgy. Bagumbayan, Roxas in the afternoon. The 47-year-old suspect was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest for five (5) counts of Violation of Republic Act No. 8353 (Anti-Rape Law), with no bail recommended.

Later that day, another successful operation was conducted in Brgy. Maligaya, Gloria, where Gloria Municipal Police Station, together with personnel from PIU OrMin PPO, CIDG OrMin, and other operating units, arrested the Regional Most Wanted Person, Rank No. 9, a Child in Conflict with the Law (CICL), by virtue of a warrant of arrest for Violation of Republic Act No. 6539, as amended by Republic Act No. 10883 (Anti-Carnapping Act).

The three arrested individuals were informed of their constitutional rights and are now under police custody for documentation before being turned over to the respective courts that issued the warrants.

PCOL EDISON V REVITA, Provincial Director, lauded the operating teams for their dedication and professionalism in ensuring the successful implementation of the operations.

“These successful operations demonstrate that no matter how long individuals sought by the law attempt to evade arrest, justice will continue to catch up with them. The arrest of three Most Wanted Persons in a single day, including the Region’s Most Wanted Persons ranked No. 2 and No. 9, is a clear result of the relentless intelligence efforts, strong coordination, and operational excellence of our police units and partner law enforcement agencies. We will continue to intensify our campaign against wanted persons to ensure that those facing the law are held accountable for their actions,” said PCOL Revita.

These accomplishments reflect the continued implementation of the F.I.G.H.T. C.R.I.M.E.S. agenda through focused law enforcement efforts against wanted persons.

As the campaign against wanted persons continues, the OrMin PPO calls on the public to remain vigilant and cooperate with law enforcement authorities by providing timely and reliable information.
