𝗢𝗥𝗠𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗗𝗘𝗣𝗟𝗢𝗬 𝗙𝗨𝗟𝗟 𝗦𝗘𝗖𝗨𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗠𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗨𝗥𝗘𝗦 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗕𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗞 𝗘𝗦𝗞𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗔 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲
Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro – As more than 500 public and private schools across Oriental Mindoro opened their doors for School Year 2026–2027, the Oriental Mindoro Police Provincial Office deployed over 300 personnel provincewide to ensure the safe, orderly, and secure conduct of classes under the nationwide Balik Eskwela 2026.
Police officers were strategically deployed in the vicinity of public and private schools, major intersections, transportation hubs, and other convergence areas to maintain peace and order, regulate traffic flow, and provide immediate police assistance during the resumption of classes.
The heightened police visibility, including the establishment of Police Assistance Desks (PADs), intensified patrol and monitoring activities, forms part of OrMin PPO’s proactive security measures aimed at preventing criminal activities, ensuring public safety, and fostering a secure learning environment. Police personnel closely coordinated with local government units, school authorities, force multipliers, and partner agencies to facilitate the safe, orderly, and incident-free opening of classes across the province, while maintaining a strong security presence in and around school premises and other convergence areas.
PCOL EDISON V REVITA, Provincial Director, OrMin PPO, emphasized the importance of collective efforts in ensuring student safety and the success of the Balik Eskwela program.
“Sa pamamagitan ng mas pinaigting na police visibility, regular na pagpapatrolya, at malapit na pakikipag-ugnayan sa mga paaralan, lokal na pamahalaan, at iba pang mga katuwang, sisikapin nating mapanatili ang isang ligtas, maayos, at mapayapang kapaligiran para sa ating mga mag-aaral. Hinihikayat namin ang lahat na maging mapagmatyag at makiisa sa pagpapanatili ng kaayusan upang maging matagumpay at ligtas ang pagbubukas ng klase sa buong lalawigan ng Oriental Mindoro.” PCOL Revita said.
