CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro โ A Provincial Most Wanted Person facing a charge of attempted murder was arrested during a warrant service operation conducted in Barangay Suqui, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro on June 4, 2026.
The operation was carried out by the Tracker Team of the CIDG Regional Special Operations Team (RSOT), CIDG Regional Field Unit 4B, as lead unit, in coordination with personnel of Bansud Municipal Police Station and the Oriental Mindoro Maritime Police StationโMaritime Law Enforcement Team.
The accused, a 48-year-old construction worker from Bansud, Oriental Mindoro and the Rank No. 10 Provincial Most Wanted Person, was arrested by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for Attempted Murder under the Revised Penal Code, docketed under Criminal Case No. CR22-12100, with recommended bail fixed at โฑ120,000.00.
Following his arrest, the accused was placed under the custody of CIDG RFU 4B for documentation and proper disposition.
PRO MIMAROPA Acting Regional Director PBGEN Christopher R. Dela Cruz commended the operating units for the successful implementation of the warrant and the coordinated efforts that led to the arrest.
โThe arrest of wanted persons remains an important part of our commitment to public safety and the rule of law, ensuring that individuals facing criminal charges are located and made answerable before the courts,โ PBGEN Dela Cruz said.

The successful operation highlights the importance of coordinated law enforcement efforts in locating wanted persons and enforcing court-issued warrants, in line with PRO MIMAROPAโs F.I.G.H.T. C.R.I.M.E.S. framework and the Chief PNPโs Five Focused Agenda.
