02 June 2026, Naujan– In line with the Provincial Government’s goal to ensure a more efficient transportation, the Php9,335,220.69 new concrete road in Munting Paraiso Street, Brgy. Sta. Maria, Naujan was formally blessed and inaugurated last 29 May.
Through the initiative of Governor Humerlito “Bonz” A. Dolor, residents of said barangay and nearby communities can now access a safer, faster and more comfortable travel on the road which spans 622 meter.
Gov. Bonz reaffirmed that under his administration, the Provincial Government will continue to support the progress of Brgy. Sta Maria through the implementation of more development projects.
Meanwhile, Sta. Maria Barangay Captain Pedro Aday expressed his sincere gratitude to the Provincial Government for concreting the last road gap in their area, which they desired for a long time.
Similarly, Brgy. Captain Emiliano Eleponga of the neighboring Barangay Apitong emphasized that residents from their community will also greatly benefit from said project, although it was not constructed within their own barangay.
First Lady Hiyas Govinda Ramos-Dolor, Naujan Vice Mayor Dan Melgar, together with Naujan Sangguniang Bayan Councilors Wil Viray and Pat Dolor, and Provincial Engineer Edylou Tejido supported the event.
