The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) Rescue Team successfully conducted its High Angle Rope Rescue Refresher Training today, May 29, 2026, as part of its continuous commitment to strengthening the operational readiness, technical capability, and emergency response skills of its personnel.

The refresher training focused on enhancing the responders’ proficiency in high angle rescue techniques, rope systems, patient packaging, safety protocols, and team coordination during complex rescue operations. Through practical exercises and scenario-based drills, responders were able to reinforce critical skills necessary in responding to emergencies involving elevated or hard-to-reach locations.

This activity serves as an important initiative to ensure that PDRRMO responders remain physically prepared, technically competent, and mentally equipped to carry out rescue operations swiftly, safely, and efficiently whenever emergencies and disasters occur.

The PDRRMO continues to uphold its mandate of protecting lives and ensuring public safety through continuous training, capacity-building activities, and professional development of its emergency response personnel.

Preparedness, teamwork, and continuous learning remain vital in building a resilient and disaster-ready community.

β€œExcellence in emergency response is achieved through continuous training and dedication to public service.”
