Bansudeños to enjoy more convenient trade experience in new Public Market

07 April 2026, Bansud – Bansudeños could finally shop and sell more comfortably in their new Public Market granted by the Provincial Government of Oriental Mindoro (PGOM) after its inauguration last 29 March.

Said two-storey building is part of the ‘One Town, One Legacy’ project under the administration of Governor Humerlito “Bonz” Dolor. 

Notably, Bansud Public Market is the first municipal market in the Second District installed with escalators to provide an easier and more convenient movement of both local vendors and customers within the two-level building. 

Gov. Dolor stated that said project symbolized his full commitment of support to Bansudeños and the further developments of said town.

He also gave an additional Php490,000.00 to Bansud Mayor Ronaldo Morada, allocated for the market’s electrical maintenance.

On behalf of his constituents, Mayor Morada expressed his gratitude to PGOM for the opportunity of realizing their dream marketplace. 

Vice Governor Antonio S. Perez, Jr. also encouraged residents to be united in ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of said facility.

Provincial Tourism Office led by Provincial Tourism Officer Dr. Dhon Stepherson Calda organized the inauguration program, supported by First Lady Hiyas Govinda Ramos-Dolor, Provincial IPMR and Provincial Board Member Lagtum Pasag, Chief of Staff Nette Dela Cruz-Dalupan, and  staff of Bansud Municipal Government.
