28 March 2026, Socorro – Governor “Bonz” A. Dolor led the formal opening of the Naujan Lake Wetland Showroom recently in Barangay Happy Valley, Socorro.
Open to residents, students and tourists, this showroom is designed to serve as a hub for information and learning on the significance of the wetland ecosystem, biodiversity, and Naujan Lake conservation.
Likewise, it aims to promote environmental awareness and sustainable ecotourism in the province.
First Lady Hiyas Govinda Ramos-Dolor joined the program, together with Vice Governor Atty. Antonio CA “Jojo” S. Perez, Jr., Mayor Nemmen Perez, and Vice Mayor Allan Kenneth Tolentino.
Board Members Alely Casubuan-Tan and Ryan Arago, Mindoro State University (MinSU) President Dr. Enya Marie D. Apostol, representatives from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and Department of Education (DepEd), PGOM Department Heads, the Oriental Mindoro Riders Federation, and members of the Conception Riders Club also attended the program.
