05 February 2026, Victoria – The Provincial Government inaugurated the Provincial
Demonstration Farm in Merit, Victoria to strengthen food security, improve farmers’
productivity, increase income opportunities, and promote sustainable and climate-resilient farming practices that will boost the agricultural sector in the province.
Governor Humerlito “Bonz” A. Dolor, along with DOA Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel Jr. and Vice Governor Antonio CA Jojo S. Perez Jr. , led the inauguration and ribbon-cutting ceremony of said project on 02 February.
The 10.5 hectare Provincial Demonstration Farm is expected to support the agricultural
development in Oriental Mindoro.
Farmers from different towns in the province are expected to benefit from said project
through its modern facilities that will advance the process and production of agricultural
inputs.
