Five young athletes of Oriental Mindoro who played during the Batang Pinoy 2025 at General Santos City last 25-31 October received recognition and cash incentives for their outstanding sport skills demonstrated in said competition.
Governor Humerlito “Bonz” Dolor awarded cash incentives last 12 December to the following:
Raijin Domingo L. Lara (Taekwondo, Kyorugi Cadet Under 53kg Category) – Bronze Medalist receiving Php 2,000 incentive; John Noah Isaiah M. Tiemsim (Taekwondo, Kyorugi Junior Flyweight Category) – Silver Medalist with Php 3,000 incentive; Rhandrex Dale B. Isler and Reign Karylle Anne M. Panes (Dancesport, Youth D Standard Category) – Silver Medalist receiving Php. 7,000 na insentibo; and Zneria P. Venal (Chess, ASEAN Rapid Category) – Silver Medalist who received Php 3,000 incentive.
Coaches of the winning young athletes also received their corresponding incentives.
Governor’s Office – Special Concerns Division (GO-SCD) under the leadership of GO-SCD Chief Junielo Alcuran facilitated the event.
Governor Dolor personally attended the opening ceremony of the said sports activity along with First Lady Hiyas Govinda Ramos-Dolor, demonstrating their full support for the Mindoro youth.
The Provincial Government continues to expand youth participation in sports to further support their ability to compete with skills and excellence in various types of sports, even at the national level.
