Philippine’s Giant Lantern Festival championed the Salong Dagitab 2025 and won Php200,000.00 during the 2nd and Final Judging Night of Salong Dagitab 2025 last 19 December at the Provincial Capitol.
Cluster 9 from Connorstone Construction Development and Supplies Corporation and Golden Spires Construction Corporation designed said lantern that bagged said competition garnering 92.34%.
Ping Xi Sky Lantern Festival of Taiwan won the 2nd place with a score of 84.59% and received Php150,000.00.
Cluster 1 composed of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO), Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO), Provincial Cooperative Development Office (PCDO), Provincial Veterinary Office (PROVET), Governor’s Office- Youth Development Division (GO-YDD), and Naujan Community Hospital (NCH) collaborated for said entry.
Vesak Lantern Festival of Sri Lanka secured 3rd place with a score of 80.68% and won Php100,000.00.
Cluster 2 that includes the Provincial Human Resource Management Office (PHRMO), Provincial Public Employment and Services Office (PPESO), Provincial Treasurer’s Office (PTO), Civil Security Division (CSD), and the Provincial Pharmacy (BLOM) represented said lantern.
Governor Humerlito “Bonz” A. Dolor and Vice Governor Atty. Jojo Perez, together with their spouses, and Sangguniang Panlalawigan Board Members Alely Casubuan-Tan, Ryan Arago, and Farrah Fay Ilano led the awarding of cash prizes and plaque of recognition to the winners.
The Provincial Tourism Office, led by Dr. Dhon Stepherson Calda facilitated the event.
