Hard work and excellence of Oriental Mindoro’s farmers shone bright as organizations and outstanding individuals from the province were recognized as agricultural champions during the Regional Gawad Saka 2025, held on 02 December 2025 at the Selah Pods Hotel in Pasay City.

Annual awarding ceremony was spearheaded by the Department of Agriculture (DA) MIMAROPA in partnership with the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) MIMAROPA, aims to highlight the vital contributions of farmers and fisherfolk who continue to uplift their communities through dedication and innovation. Their stories serve as inspiration for building a more resilient and progressive agriculture sector in the MIMAROPA region.
These recognitions stand as proof of the continuing growth and success of Oriental Mindoro farmers and fisherfolk, made possible through the support of the Provincial Government and local government units. Together, they strive to further improve the quality of life of communities whose hard work sustains every household’s dining table.
