ππππ: As part of its ongoing disaster preparedness and response efforts, the Coast Guard Sub Station Bulalacao successfully carried out a preemptive evacuation in Sitio Tabuk, Barangay Poblacion, in anticipation of the possible impact of Super Typhoon βUwan.β
The operation was conducted in close coordination with the Barangay Chairwoman of Poblacion and the Disaster Response Team (DRT)CGSS Bulalacao. Through their collective efforts, 90 individuals from 18 families were safely evacuated and provided with temporary shelter at the Bulalacao Central School, which serves as an official evacuation center.

The Philippine Coast Guard remains on full alert and continues to coordinate with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Bulalacao, local disaster teams, and other concerned agencies to ensure that residents in coastal and low-lying areas remain safe and well-informed.
The PCG also urges the public to remain vigilant, monitor weather updates, and follow all advisories issued by local authorities to avoid risks as the typhoon approaches.
