UWAN FURTHER INTENSIFIES WHILE MOVING WEST NORTHWESTWARD
OVER THE SEA EAST OF EASTERN VISAYAS.
Location of Center (4:00 AM)
The center of Typhoon UWAN was estimated based on all
available data at 985 km East of Eastern Visayas (12.4°N,
133.7°E)
Intensity
Maximum sustained winds of 130 km/h near the center,
gustiness of up to 160 km/h, and central pressure of 965 hPa
Present Movement
West northwestward at 25 km/h
Extent of Tropical Cyclone Winds
Strong to typhoon-force winds extend outwards up to
780 km from the center
