Hereโs your quick guide on the automatic suspension of classes and work during typhoons, based on PAGASAโs Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals (TCWS) and DepEd Order No. 022, s. 2024.
Signal No. 1: Automatic suspension of classes for Kindergarten in affected areas.
Signal No. 2: Automatic suspension of face-to-face classes from Kindergarten to Grade 10 (Junior High School).
*Schools must implement modular distance learning, performance tasks, projects, or make-up classes, based on their Learning and Service Continuity Plan (LSCP).
Signal No. 3: Automatic suspension of classes in all levels in the affected areas.
If TCWS is raised while classes are ongoing, schools must immediately suspend and ensure safe dismissal.
