Hundreds of priests, religious groups, parishionerss and Governor Humerlito “Bonz” A. Dolor, along with other provincial leaders, stood by and waited for the arrival of the remains of Bishop Warlito I. Cajandig, D.D. arrived at Dangay Port in the town of Roxas on 24 October. After the solemn welcome, the bishop’s remains were brought to Sto.
Niño Parish Church, where a thanksgiving and memorial mass was held in honor
of his life and service.
The mass celebrated Bishop Cajandig’s devotion and his role in nurturing the
spiritual growth of the Mindoreños through his tireless service to the church.
His remain stayed at the Sto. Niño Parish Church, giving the people opportunity
to offer prayers and pay their last respects before bringing to Pinamalayan and
other churches in the province.
Bishop Cajandig, who served the Apostolic Vicariate of Calapan, was not only a
dedicated Church leader but also a voice of faith and hope, guiding the people
through life’s challenges. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts and
minds of every Mindoreños.
