On September 26,2022, the Provincial Government of Oriental Mindoro through its Provincial Tourism Office held its prestigious awarding event; GABI NG PAGKILALA 2022 at Czeascape Resort, Calapan City as part of the celebration for Tourism Month this September and to welcome Indigenous Peoples Month in October.
This annual awarding ceremony honors and recognizes the partners of the Provincial Government in the development of tourism, culture and art in the province through the Local Tourism Stakeholders Excellence Award (LTSEA) and Gawad Pamana sa Sining and Kultura.
The Gawad Pamana sa Sining at Kultura is a recognition of the contribution of local cultural workers, artists and bearers in their respective fields that promote protection and safeguarding of local culture and tradition. Awardees were:
